  1. Make the guest feel welcome or feel at home.
  2. When a guest arrives, rise and greet him/her.
  3. Introduce him/her to any person who might be already in the room.
  4. Make the guest comfortable in every way.
  5. See that everybody is served with refreshment before they go.
  6. See to it that everybody is treated equally.
  7. Provide an atmosphere of hospitality for it is a key to success in entertaining.
