Gift giving is an old traditional practice that never fades. It is what makes an occasion more meaningful, more memorable and more personal. Gifts appear in various forms. Some people give material gifts—it could be a simple token like a book, key chain, or a photo album. Others make their gifts more sentimental by writing a poem, lyrics of a song or a wonderful story engraved in papers. It is a bit mawkish but it really works in making the relationship stronger and sweeter. Still others prefer to give a gift in a rather unique way such as singing a song, creating a work of art such as painting, sculpture, etc. Whatever type of gift you intend to give to a certain person, it is important that you wrap it with thought, love and affection. The person who will receive the gift will appreciate it more if you have the heart in giving—that the gift is given by a cheerful heart, by somebody who wishes to share a part of herself by the simple way of remembering somebody’s birthday, anniversary, graduation and other special occasions in the life of the said person.

No gift is better than that which emanates from the heart. When I received my first gift I was full of joy. No description is enough to define the feeling of having received a gift from somebody who loves you so much. My first pair of slippers came from my mother. It was my first gift; my mother gave it to me in my seventh birthday. The pair of slippers may not be that expensive enough to merit other people’s attention, but for a young innocent boy that I was, it was the most beautiful pair of slippers in the world. Every year I return such act of kindness to her. When she had her 60th birthday, I give her some personalized gifts which she appreciated exceedingly that she shed tears because of joy. These personalized gifts I requested were done from an online store. I usually buy cheap gifts and graduation gifts at www.designergifts.com.

I will be forever thankful to people who give gifts full of heart. I can feel their warmth and I know that I belong….
