Document storage is an important aspect of information management. Managing the great bulk of information in a particular firm is a challenge. There are times that when office papers have piled up and went uncontrolled, the office turns into a jungle, cluttered with papers of various sorts. It is common to observe certain offices, both government and corporate, having tables full of papers. Even their storage room or archives are disorderly and without proper organization. Just take a look at an office table piled with used papers. Don’t you consider them as an eyesore? If you’re going to ask me, what is the ultimate solution for a mountain of papers which are no longer needed; I’ll instantly recommend document shredding. Granted that this orderly appearance may give the connotation that the person in-charge of this table is really doing his job, it is still not a good sight for practically anyone who will drop a visit to that office. Of course, to keep off the mess, these papers should be kept on a manageable level.
